Boomtown Festival Icons | Icon Design
Boomtown Fair is an immersive UK festival held every year which describes itself as “a city of music, theatre, escapism, community and creativity.”
We decided not to draw icons for utilities and pre-existing icons and instead chose to create new icons to allow us to be more creative. We selected six categories and three icons from each category to give an overall flavour of the festival. We collectively decided on visual techniques to ensure coherency within the icons. Then one category was assigned to each group member to sketch and brainstorm.
